Fourth Charge added against Imprisoned Baha'i Leaders

leadersIran Press Watch has learned through reliable sources close to the seven (7) imprisoned Baha’i leaders (formerly known as Yaran) that the families of the incarcerated Baha’is were allowed to meet with them today, Monday, April 27, 2009.

In this meeting, the imprisoned Baha’is reported that last week they were interrogated by the judiciary official in charge of the preparation of the case against them.  A new charge has been added to the previous three (3) charges against them, namely:  Aiding, teaching and propagating the Baha’i religion in Iran.

This charge is equivalent to “mufsed fel-arz” [corrupt on earth], which historically has carried harsh penalties, including the death penalty.

One of the Baha’i leaders, Mr. Khanjani, however expressed his joy over this new charge as it makes it clear that the Baha’is are imprisoned because of their religious belief.

The family members have reported to Iran Press Watch that all seven imprisoned Baha’is appeared in good health and spirit.

Oh, the spiritual might of these seven souls! They have electrified and galvanized a far reaching global community of freedom lovers. God bless each one.

    Logic and reason
I am interested to see how the iranian government will argue with this charge and the context of the international conventions on human rights Iran has signed. Now it is clear that the other arguments had been invented to cover the truth.

So it took this long for Aya Ali Khananei to come up with this new charge against these 7 Baha’is. I bet you the last rial in my pocket and on my mother’s grave that he was looking in the gold framed mirror Rafsanjani had given him when got that idea. I only hope Rafsanjany had given him the mirror very soon after he saw himself in it and said it looks better on Agha’s wall.

With zero education, zero leadership, zero management and zero people skills –just turban and beard– he calls educated and dedicated people mofsid fel arz. With these two turbans in charge of Iran, Iran’s future is guaranteed to look brighter than mushroom clouds!

Unless this present Iranian regime conquers the whole world ( a fantasy and “pipe dream” in the light of humanity’s 10,000 year old history ) more the certainty of this regime shortly following those of its predecessors eg.Nazi Germany,Fascist Italy, not excluding Iran’s “beloved Alexander”, the mullah’s intention to leave no trace of a world-embracing peaceful religion — Baha’i –has not a “snowball’s chance in hell”, the same odds faced by the machinations of those “earlier mullahs” who railed and miserably failed against Muhammad, Christ,Buddha, Moses.

All this should tell us that if one looks for truth or falsehood in any creed or faith ,all one has to do is to witness what is vehemently opposed and persecuted by the sacerdotal order (ie.mullahs, clergy,,brahmins, rabbis), since the new truths proclaimed by any divinely ordained Messenger has always constituted the most lethal threat to the whole sacerdotal order of every past religion. One can then readily see the TRUTH ranged on the opposite side of those priestly orders with their unchanging singular aim or intention ,whether clothed in robes of yellow, or black or white or green,ie.
namely, to enslave the human mind for their own unscrupulous aim, a purpose diametrically opposed to the God given gift of reason and its principle of independent investigation of truth mandated by every divinely ordained Messenger, be it Krishna, Moses, Zoroaster, Buddha,
Christ, Muhammad and now Baha’u’llah. History shows that even the continuity of any past or extant sacerdotal order is only achieved under the name of one of the above and not under some other label.

Fortunately, in our age of instant communication and accessibility to all information, Baha’u’llah while enjoining “independent investigation of truth” has unequivocally and mercifully abolished clergy of any kind.
These are very bad times for priests and politicians whose death throes are clearly evident. Our times stand in need of a Prophet, and, as promised by Christ, “before ye call I shall answer”. He has, by the advent of Baha’u’llah.

I agree with Mr. Khanjani that the new charge shows the underlying truth. Amazing that Iran’s leaders would reveal the bankruptcy of their position. What fools could possibly support the persecution of a peaceful religion whose teachings command obedience to government (even unjust ones), non-involvement in politics, independent investigation of truth and personal forgiveness?
