Before the world, Iranian “Islam” is now on open trial, as the author has said.

The American Baha'i community is doing its utmost to awaken the wider community to the threat facing all prisoners of conscience in Iran with locally focused public meetings. Members of local Interfaith organizations have partipated by saying prayers with us and have learned more about the Baha'i Faith than ever before. All, including local reporters, who have covered this story with what can only be described as eagerness, are amazed at the humble bravery of the Baha'is of Iran.

Dear "Jabr," your courage is what brings tears to our eyes; you and all the Baha'is of Iran are remembered in our constant prayer.

Dear Stephen:

Thank you for pointing this out. I asked the IPW editor to make this change, and the corrected version now reads as follows:

Later on, a three-member national committee was formalized as the institution of “The Friends in Iran.” Nationally and locally, the Yaran (”Friends”) and the Khademin were charged with oversight of the internal affairs of the Baha’i faith-community . . . .”

Thanks again for your contructive feedback.

I thank you for the wonderful service you provide through this website and the very informative articles. I have only one small suggestion. In several articles, you refer to the "Yaran Iran" as the "Friends of Iran" (ie. "Later on, a three-member national committee was formalized as the institution of “The Friends of Iran.” "), however the correct transliteration is the "Friends IN Iran". You can verify this through http://news.bahai.org as well as official Baha'i communications. Once again, you do a wonderful service here and I eagerly check this site for updates several times every day. Thank you!
