What a tragedy.
CNN Reports “Ten members of the country’s youth judo team were aboard the Caspian Airlines plane, several sources including Press TV reported. The network said the dead included eight athletes and two coaches.”Was this the judo team from which a Baha’i was excluded because he was a Baha’i?

Another sad day in Iran. Everyday innocent people are getting killed, imprisoned, tortured and hanged. And now it’s our champions’ turn. They are forced to fly 2nd class Tupoloves while our rulers fly First Class British Airways. No mollah was on this plane. They flew the day before on British Airways.
There was a time when Iran was land of milk and honey. Now Iran has become land of death and misery.
May God have mercy on the living in Iran.

A mullah friend of mine gave me this prayer from the writings of The Bab in a book he was reading about your religion today: “Imesureably exalted art Thou O our Lord. Protect us from what lieth in front of us and behind us, to our right, to our left, above our heads, below our feet and to every other side to which we are exposed. Verily Thy protection over all things is unfailing.” He said he is going to say this prayer every time he leaves his house from now on.
May God guide everyone to the Straight Path so that the Sun of Truth can shine all across Iran.

Dear Ali,
The prayer you quoted is part of a longer prayer by the Bab. The official English translation of the passage you quoted is: “Immeasurably exalted art Thou, O Lord! Protect us from what lieth in front of us and behind us, above our heads, on our right, on our left, below our feet and every other side to which we are exposed. Verily, Thy protection over all things is unfailing.”
It also includes a wonderful passage: “He maketh victorious whomsoever He pleaseth, through the potency of His behest. He is in truth the Powerful, the Almighty.”
I am curious about the fact that a mulla is reading this book. It seems that people high and low in Iran are becoming interested in the Baha’i Faith.

Dear Bill,
Thank you for sending the actual quote. Many Ayas read your Holy books and writings. They want to be prepared for the future events predicted in your writings for Iran and the world both as escapegoat and life line.
It is easier now that your writings are available through OCEAN and websites such as http://bahaiprayers.org/indexlong.htm
They can’t resist the candy. Even Ayatollah Khomeini had Mofavezate Abdu’l-Baha and your Hidden Words prayers in his library and actually carried The Hidden Words with him around as a resource. They all want to know what power it is that unites you Baha’is. Everything they do your coreligionist in Iran is out of their jelousy and ignorance. They don’t like the abolishment of clergy and preisthood which is what your Prophet Baha’u'llah had announced and Ahmadinejad is
accomplishing. Isn’t God Great?
