O soul, my eyes fill with tears at the horrific suffering endured by this noble lady! How many unsung Iranians have sacrificed everything to bear witness to their belief? While we in the West are drunk with "freedom," it is virtuous souls like Mrs M. who bring light to the world, choosing to worship according to the dictates of their conscience no matter what the cost. This was true of the early Christians, early Muslims and now it is true of Iranian Baha'is. I pray that hearts of the ignorant may be turned to the light of the One God, who looks upon His Creation, humankind as the leaves of one tree, the waves of one sea, the flowers of one garden.
