As a university professor, I am deeply saddened to hear the expulsion of Mr. NajaAbadi from an Iranian University. It is not the first time that such an unjust action in such a wonderful country takes place. What happened to Iran? Is it the some country that has more than four thousand years of civilizations? Is it the some country known as the lovers of science and art for centuries?

Mr. Najaf-Abadi has every right to obtain an education. He passed the Iranian college entrance exams and was admitted as a student. Sadly, once again a Baha'i youth is been denied education because of his peaceful beliefs. Baha'is are exhorted to high achievement and academic excellence by the Teachings of Baha'u'llah, with the aim that they may be of service to their community. Mr. Najaf-Abadi did this; he deserves an education. Instead, he has been excluded. Where else on earth is achievement punished in this way? How sad for Iran.
