Is this the only country in the world were the Baha’is are persecuted?

Yes, Brett; if Baha’is wish to champion religious unity and promote reconciliation, they have to face trails with non violence, assisting their assailants towards a better understanding, as Abdu’l-Baha advises them :

“You must make firm the feet at the time when these trials transpire, and demonstrate forbearance and patience. You must withstand them with the utmost love and kindness; consider their oppression and persecution as the caprice of children, and do not give any importance to whatever they do. For at the end the illumination of the Kingdom will overwhelm the darkness of the world and the exaltation and grandeur of your station will become apparent and manifest… Rest ye assured.”

Let’s be careful what we wish for, Dawnbreaker19. No doubt they will get some of that which they deserve, despite God’s mercy, and even that alone should be enough to make us wish to pray to God to mitigate the severity of that severe punishment which may threaten them.

“the event which hath truly cheered the eye of the world…is none other than the intercession of the friends with the high authorities in favour of their enemies.” (Baha’u'llah, Lawh-i-Dunya, Tablet of the World)

Of course, it is still for the role of institutions, including international ones, to defend the innocent, a role separate from personal forgiveness, wish they will hopefully increasingly do for those oppressed around the whole world.

Dear Sir: Did I miss something? Exactly what was her ‘crime’ to receive such special attention from police. All I can conclude is that Rozita Vasseghi is with holding information from the police.
After 125 days in solitary confinement how ‘timely or reliable’ could that ”information” remain? The family’s payment of a security bond of 50 million tumans and the authorities refusal to release her raises a hold series of new questions.
This is a case worth watching.
