HRANA News – In a continuation of the repression of religious minorities, a Baha’i is sentenced to 3 years of imprisonment by the Babol Revolutionary Court.
As noted by HRANA reporters, Moshtagh Samandari, a Baha’i resident of Babol [see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Babol], has been charged with insulting Islam and sentenced to 3 years of imprisonment by the Revolutionary Court of Babol. It is worth noting that he was arrested by security forces toward the end of Khordad of last year [mid-June 2009], and the sentence is based on that file.
